Withdrawal Policy
GPR Journals has mechanisms for correcting, revising or withdrawing manuscripts after submission and after publication. The editors bear in mind that the main purpose of withdrawing is to correct the content and enhance its integrity rather than disorienting the publication process. Nevertheless, withdrawal request from author(s) should always mention the reason(s) for withdrawal.
A submitted paper can be withdrawn at different stages such as immediately after submission, after issuance of formal acceptance letter, or after online publication.
If the author(s) wishes to withdraw a manuscript immediately after submission;
- Such an author must write an email requesting the editor to halt further processing of the manuscript and provide reasons for withdrawal.
- The withdrawal at this stage has no cost implications.
If the author(s) wishes to withdraw a manuscript after receiving formal acceptance letter;
- Such an author must write an email requesting the editor to halt further processing of the manuscript and provide reasons for withdrawal.
- If the editor finds it fit to honour the author’s request, the editor will issue the author with a withdrawal approval letter.
- The editor will retain the same letter for future reference and as a proof of manuscript withdrawal.
- The manuscript processing fee already paid by the author(s) is non-refundable.
If the author(s) wishes to withdraw a manuscript after it has been published online;
- Such an author must write an email requesting the editor to halt further processing of the manuscript and provide reasons for withdrawal.
- If the editor finds it fit to honour the author’s request, the editor will issue the author with a withdrawal approval letter.
- The editor will retain the same letter for future reference and as a proof of manuscript withdrawal.
- The manuscript processing fee already paid by the author(s) is non-refundable.
